9520 Calibrated Leakers
The MODEL 9520 Calibrated Leaker is a shell, a converted end, or a disc into which a small hole has been made; this small hole is accurately created to produce a precise leak rate. A 9520 can be used to check and calibrate leak detection equipment on a can or end line.

The MODEL 9520 Calibrated Leaker is a shell, a converted end, or a disc into which a small hole has been made; this small hole is accurately created to produce a precise leak rate. A 9520 can be used to check and calibrate leak detection equipment on a can or end line.
Operation
The 9520 Calibrated Leaker is mounted in a piece of leak detection equipment. The equipment applies a specific pressure to one side of the 9520 leaker and measures the leak rate thru the precision-manufactured hole in the leaker. This value is used to verify the calibration of the leak detection equipment.
