USAGE

To determine shives and other particles in pulp suspensions.

DEVICE DESCRIPTION

The Somerville shive content analyzer is built upon a robust stainless steel frame, which holds the membrane chamber and the container. The control box can be mounted to a wall. The wash chamber and the container are separated by an exchangeable slot plate, which holds one calibrated ring nozzle with twelve horizontal openings right in the center of the slot plate. The attached overflow container regulates the water level in the container. The slot plate can be easily removed due to quick fasteners
