To determine the “caking” ability of resin.
DEVICE DESCRIPTION
The Resin Tester was developed in close cooperation with the customer. This special device is testing resins on their “caking” ability and finds its main usage in the paint industry. The resin is heated up to 60°C in the thermal pots and put under pressure by a pneumatic stamp. After a pre-determined time (hours, days, weeks) the process is finished and the resin can be checked on how much it “caked” together and further analyses can be done. The heating elements can be pre-set to simulate different times. The device is equipped with a touch display and an analyses software. There are five resin pots which can be pulled to the front for easier sample filling and the stamp height is adjusted manually with help of rulers.
