USAGE
For measuring the water or oil absorption of sized samples.
DEVICE DESCRIPTION
The COBB tester cylinder surrounds a test area of 100 cm² and is used to exposure the test material to water or oil. The device comes with a polished stainless steel couching roll in order to couch the test piece between two blotting papers on a POM plate. A non-absorbent rubber lip seals the test area. The quick clamping (only model P.307.100-K) allows an immediate removal of the test sample after the testing time, pre-set on the digital stopwatch, has elapsed.
